The C.S.I Kanyakumari Diocese started the C.S.I School for the Blind at Irenepuram in the year 03-08-1970. Many Visually handicapped students from various places joined this institution and got their lives up lifted for their future. By the richest blessings of God-Almighty those blind student left this institution successfully are placed in good positions and are self-employed or in employment. It is our prime duty to search and bring blind children irrespective of Caste, Relegion and Creed between the age group of 5 and 15 and accommodate in the school hostel and impart them with free education, up to B.Ed, free industrial and handicraft training with dress, food, medicine etc. Special coaching for Music and Sports are given.
